Pamukkale is situated 14 km far from
DENIZLI. It is very well known with
it is interesting Travertins. It is
listed as the world's importent
touristic values. The travertens
have been exposed on the surdace of
the soil 400 m high of sea level.
Beside the trivertens the Antique
city (hiera polis) and hot spring
baths are the importent sports worth
to visit and see.
TRAVERTINS, PAMUKKALE
These are named ''PAMUKKALE'' -
Coston Castle - after it is exposure
which tend to look like cotton
masses that in fact it was petrified
in the form of steps more or less
cream colored pombous lime stone
hardining or exposure essentially of
the same structure as a stalactite
while calcerrous water running
become petrified in the form of
steps when it reaches the hot spring
water 35 C after having been mixed
with gas of carbon dioxide and
formed the cream colored masses
THE HOT SPRINGS OF PAMUKKALE
The hot spring of Pamukkale contains
the same characteristics as the
running waters of the travertins
they are belleved and approved to be
helpful in treatments of some
ailments such as heart diseasw
neurological ailments and in curing
of Arterious Clorasis.
